Almost

James finished the dresser on Tuesday night. I was so excited to see the final product! He picked up some shiny silver knobs to give it a more modern look and some semi-gloss spray to shine it up a bit. After letting it air out, we moved it into the nursery last night. I tossed two dryer sheets in each drawer and some Scentsy travel tins in every other drawer. I'm hoping this will prevent the clothes from smelling like stain or the gloss spray. I checked on it this morning and it seemed to smell more like dryer sheets and Scentsy than anything else in the room.

So of course, on Wednesday night I was washing clothes like crazy. I ended up having super size loads. Besides clothes, this also included wash cloths, towels, sheets, blankets, booties, hats, bibs, etc. And it didn't include anything new that I have. So I have lots of clothes.

After I washed the clothes, I then separated them by age. The only sizes that went into the dresser was Newborn-3 months. Anything bigger than that has been put in the closet. I did this with M when she was a baby and I found it really helped especially when you're in a rush and just want to grab something quickly out of the dresser that fits.

I plan on tidying stuff up and posting pictures by this weekend. There are still a few odds and ends that need to be taken care of. I'm not 100% happy with the arrangement of the room but we don't have a lot of space to work with. Crib + glider + changing table + dresser really take up a lot of room. I'm also storing the stroller, carseat, bouncer, swing and high chair in there. So you can imagine how congested it is! Almost a little too congested for my big pregnant belly!
