Rain

I love rainy days. I love how the sky clouds over and the sun disappears. There's something so calming about the overall experience. It's probably not very normal to like dark, gloomy days. It probably says something twisted about my personality. So be it. Somewhere deep inside of me there's probably some dark twisted reason why. All I know is, after the heat we've had for the past few days, this dark and gloomy ambiance is exactly what we need.

M has become our household weather girl. She insists that we watch the weather whenever the news is on. No news? Well she turns to the laptop or cellphone for her answer. She insists on seeing radar maps and forecasts. She cannot plan her day unless she knows if it will be a "beautiful day or a rainy day" and how it will affect her chances of going to the beach. We may just have a future meteorologist on our hands!
