1. Name five things in your refrigerator. Kool-aid (we go through a gallon every day), margarine (country crock), eggs, turkey ham, ketchup, pickles (of course, you know me), mustard, mayonaise, wine, potatoes, skim milk, and many many more things...
2. Name five things in your freezer. pizza rolls, chicken nuggets, chicken breast, cheese pizza, fish filets, waffles, french toast sticks, chimichangas (sp?), ice (duh!), chicken tenders, and more things we should eat...
3. Name five things under your kitchen sink. Orange Clean, carpet cleaner, lysol, paper towels, rubber gloves, windex, bleach, and tons more cleaning supplies (I'm a very anal, neat freak)
4. Name five things around your computer. Zip drive, cable modem, fan, lint roller, coffee mug, ash tray, post-its, lighters, scooby-doo, jimi hendrix wall hanging, cellphone, tv, super nintendo, n-64, sub-woofer/speakers, printer, phonebook, trash can, weights, etc.
5. Name five things in your medicine cabinet. We have this crappy, small medicine cabinet, so a lot of our stuff ends up in the hall closet, but in the medcinie cabinet we have... Apsirin, Ibruprofen, Tylenol Allergy-Sinus, Contrac cold medicine, James' contacts, band-aids (star wars), rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, Excedrin Quicktabs (can you tell I get a lot of headaches?), James' labret jewelry.. etc.
Plans for the weekend:
- Laundry
- Halloween costume shopping. I keep changing my mind on what I want to be, but right now James and I are thinking about dressing up as the "undead" like zombies. So I dunno, it depends on what we can find.
- More pumpkin carving (we carved two pumpkins last weekend, but they're already rotting, so we need to get new ones for the party next weekend.
- Possibly seeing Texas Chainsaw Massacre or going to a haunted house on Saturday night. I'm leaning toward haunted house...
- Celebrating Sweetest Day. I got James the Special Edition Texas Chainsaw Massacre dvd and he's getting me something (I don't know what though!) He's never been able to surprise me, I always know whats going on. But I seriously have NO idea what he could be getting me. He told me its something I've been wanting. I can't figure it out. Eek!
I hope everyone has a nice weekend and a great [insert greeting card holiday]. I know a lot of people don't like Sweetest Day because its merely a greeting card holiday, but its still fun. It gives you an excuse to buy something for someone (doesn't have to be a significant other) and show them that you care for them. My parents used to always get me sweetest day presents up until I moved out, so we always celebrated it. My dad is a very romantic man and always remembers holidays and anniversaries. He always gets my mom something even if its just a card. I think its so sweet. Even when my mom forgets, he remembers! They been together for 18 years now, and I'm so proud of them. They have a wonderful marriage and I wish my marriage is as strong as theirs. When my dad was laid off earlier this summer he came home and told my mom the news. My mom, being a stay at home mom, looked at him and said, "No problem, I'll get a job and you'll apply for unemployment. We'll get through this." Isn't that amazing? She didn't for a second make my dad feel like it was his fault or that he had let her down. That's true love. I love my parents so much. *eee* I'm headed over there tonight and I think I will give them both a big hug. I wish everyone could have experienced two parents like mine. They are very open-minded and were protective enough when I was younger to keep me align. My friends will agree that my parents are weird, but very lovable. Anyway.. enough about that! Everyone have a happy sweetest day, from me!
