Clothes

Yes, you guessed it. I bought more baby clothes. M and I went out shopping on Sunday on the hunt for a new hermit crab cage. In the wee hours of the morning on Sunday, one of our cats knocked the cage off the counter and smashed it. Luckily the hermit crabs made it, however their house was not so lucky. We searched a couple of stores and were not able to find anything suitable as a new home for the crabs. But on the way back home we stopped at Kohl's, since we had $10 for there burning a hold in our pocket. I told M since she was a good girl that I would let her pick out a couple of things. She ended up with a $5 Eeyore from their "Kohl's Cares for Kids" stuffed animal collection and a pair of clearance sunglasses (since the dog ate her other ones last weekend). I of course ended up in the baby girl clothing clearance. I was able to hold myself back though and only buy two pieces of clothing. The other bonus is that they were size 3-6 and 6-9 months, bigger sizes that I don't have a lot of. So I justified it. After our $10 gift card, we only spent $5.49! Not bad. Though I'm pretty sure James is ready for me to be done buying baby clothes. It's just so hard to resist!

I don't have any babies yet, but when I was out garage sale shopping the other day I came across a great range of designer baby clothes at a bargain price, I almost bought them and only resisted because I was with the fiance and I didn't feel like answering 'those questions'. BUT now I'm regretting it! Baby's clothes don't date!! You should always trust your instincts when it comes to bargain shopping! :) Hazel
