Woohoo for big paychecks! I get paid twice a month and every once and awhile I will be surprised with a nice 3 week check. It was definitely a nice surprise to open up my check stub (yey for direct deposit) and to see a 3-digit I'm not familiar seeing! woo! So I paid all our bills, sat aside some money for the end of the month for rent, and took care of our loan payment. I feel good right now and not uneasy about money, its a good feeling. Saturday is my nephew Bobby's 12th birthday. Everyone keeps saying, "wow, he's 12 now!" to be honest I feel like time is going by slow. I know that sounds weird but it seems like he's been a little kid forever. I look forward to him being a teenager and growing up. Granted I don't think he'll ever fully be grown up, I think there will always be that little kid. So anyway, I've decided to give him $12 for his birthday, bake him a cake and maybe treat him to dinner. We're either celebrating on Friday or Saturday, should be fun though!

On Friday I have all-day paid training for work. I'm getting trained for Excel since I've never taken a formal course in it. The only experience I have is completely hands-on and self-taught so my boss thought it would be a good idea to get me certified in it :) She said after that the next class will be Dreamweaver MX since again I'm only self-taught. I love this!
