Well James made $50 last night at work from selling this stupid neon light in his car and for fixing some dude's computer. *yey* He also got someone to buy my computer for $250.00 tonight. We just came into $300.00 that we didn't have and didn't even have budgeted. This means we can get the satelite and groceries when we move in. I'm excited now. We won't be strapped for money when we first move in. I'm pretty fucking excited. The computer was worth more, but it wasn't making $250 just sitting on my desk. I'm using James' computer, well "our" computer rather and its a good computer so I can't complain. I wish we could move in sooner, it seems like the next 2 weeks are going to move by really slow. At least the last week before we move shouldn't. start school that week! That means I only have to spend one week commuting from Jefferson to Madison (allowing myself an hour to get there!). My dad is giving me around $1000.00 for this semester so I can get my books for class. My books are all like $90.00 a piece! Its pretty ridiculous, because at the University I could rent them. It should be about 5000 to 6000 to finish school and that includes books. Fun fun. Once I get through this week my life is going to kick in to gear. Any of you people that just moved, I need packing advice. How soon should I pack? What should I pack in? Are cardboard boxes the way? Luckily we have a lot of stuff already there (the people were nice enough to let us keep our stuff there) that we went out and bought. We went to Wal-Mart and bought a futon, entertainment center, kitchen stuff, etc. We also went to St Vinnies (goodwill) and got a lot of the little things we needed and didn't want to spend a lot of money on (i.e. dish drainer, coffee mugs, ash trays, etc). Basically we spend about $300.00 total to furnish our apartment (what we didn't buy we already have shoved in this current tiny bedroom of ours). We already have: a 25" TV, DVD player, 2 vcrs, Nintendo Gamecube, Computer (obviously), computer desk, 2 dressers, 3 disc cd player, 2 desk lamps, and tons more. We needed a coffee table really bad and found one for $3.00 at a garage sale. We kick ass. I made $2.00 at our garage sale. Sad, eh? lol. Anyway. half of this stuff I've said before haha. Oh well. Well I was talking to my mom and she's going to call my real dad and ask him to pay for a years worth of internet for us at the apartment. The best deal I could find was $200.00 through Global Dialog for 300hrs/month. Its pretty impossible to use that much in a month anyway so it should work. It was hard to find a place that provided service to our area, but we finally found one that wasn't too expensive. Usually when my mom asks him to to do something for me he usually does it. I told her I wasn't asking him, because well.. I have too much pride. College money is one thing because that's my inheritance from my grandma. Anyhow I better get going, because this is another long ass entry full of pointless shit. lol. I'm watching the same movie on Disney that I watched earlier. How pathetic. Goodnight.
