I've been neglecting my blog quite a bit lately, but I promise I have good reason. We've been hanging at the new place making changes and getting it all nice and clean. If I can remember we're going to take the digital camera there tonight and take pictures of the place. Joe and I are going to take a few boxes up there. We only have a few things in there, so it will be like taking "before" and "after" pictures. When we were there on Wednesday we shampooed the carpet, cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom, and put together the futon and the entertainment center. My dad and James put those together actually. My mom and I cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. We're still trying to get a brown ring around the tub off. Its gross. Some people just don't know how to clean! We're hoping to have a "house-warming" party the second Saturday of September so that we can utilize our beautiful patio. Its gigantic and has tons of space and chairs/tables to use. We have the coolest landlords ever. Last night James and I went to Sears and got our Satelite receiver. Now all we need is to get my dad to hook it up. I hope its not that hard or much more money, because we paid $104 just for it. James said we can use normal cable, so we'll see. Once its all set it will only be $5 a month to hook up to their satelite. Kick ass, eh? Anyhow I have a busy day ahead of me, because its James' payday. We have to go hurry up and spend it all. Ummm no. Put it all in the bank and pay bills. Ahhh responsibilities.
